that which i used to loathe

to effortlessly awaken before the sun even dawns
the auspicious hours when the Path is drawn
i’m scheduled at the intersection of silence and solitude
to meet my Self during this introspective interlude
for what a gift it is! to be allowed this detention
no beast, human, nor process needing my attention
all my faculties dedicated to subtle refinement
the craft of living — through spinal alignment
