Joe Biden Just Became the Most Progressive Leader in the World

The pandemic proved that government is needed and our president commanded it to support us

A multi-generational reordering of American society has just taken place. Joseph Biden, a near-octogenarian, who could have been spending these final years of his life hugging grandkids, and chipping away at a long-list of unread books, instead has initiated one of the most transformational moments in American history; and, none of this would have been possible without the sickness, the megalomania, and the abject failures of the Trump Administration — the proverbial “enough is enough” moment arrived and he — we — acted.

As the American poet Emma Lazarus wrote in 1883:

Little did we realize that in 2021, those words would be pertaining to the citizens of the United States.

For forty years the raison d’etre of the Republican Party has been to liberate the wealthy from taxes, always under the guise that those magnanimous, and selfless, people of money would reinvest in those very same good folks kept out of their clubs; the same ones they undertip for massaging their every caprice. But those investments never happen; instead, investment goes into an unseen infrastructure that would further accelerates the accumulation of the nation’s wealth — at the expense of the working and middle classes.

Here we are though, folks, America has looked into a Democratic Party-held mirror, and the reflection it sees scared the hell out of a lot of people. Literally, overnight we went from being a society where government was the enemy, and still is for many of those on the right, to one where government will be providing the stimulus for well over a hundred million Americans who will actually imagine more than just mitigating their hunger. The US government is saying, unequivocally, we hear you, and we will help you.
